I started riding with a cub 90 back in the 80s, I graduated to 185 exciter, traded it for an older 360 Enduro, and grew old. Now I’m back to the 125 trail cub, trying to get back into cycling (l.s.s) was in an accident that crippled me up for while. Therapist said I needed to get out and do something I enjoyed, so here I am with a 2023 trail 125. Any tips or tricks (older guy with bad knees from accident) would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! I'm actually brand new to riding because of my therapist's suggestion too and started with the Trail 125. Certainly helping to clear the head so far, just need it to not be 100F for a few. Hope the ride's gentle on you knees, have fun and welcome to the forum.

So far, my biggest issue has been able to swing my leg across bike. But driving it back home from the dealership brought the biggest smile to my face. The temps here are around 100( feel temps) so I’m going to wait for autumn to set in. But, in the meantime, I go and sit on bike (on the trike stand) and pretend I’m at my favorite river crossing. It helps. Stay strong my friend.

my friend David (older than me) has leg issues, and he says its easier, for him, to stand on the LH peg w the sidestand down and swing over his bikes. reverse to dismount. Might help.

He also just bought a new kawasaki H2, so he's not slowing down anytime soon. :ROFLMAO: Congrats on the new bike.
