Just signed the papers yesterday on a 2022 CT. It just hit the dealer's warehouse and I got lucky finding it without waiting around a year. Haven't taken delivery yet but I'm sure I'll be more than pleased with it. I've been riding a '72 K4 forever. Time do be done with points and carb for awhile(original carb is toast and I'm on China carb #3). I ride to work in decent weather only 8 miles away from my house. I live in the greater Seattle, WA area so I say decent weather meaning not freezing /snowing or pouring rain.

Fuel prices here are hovering at $4.50 a gallon so riding a bike to work is worth the cost. Excited about getting on it and pressing a button to start it haha.

Edit: I'll change my profile picture to the correct bike once I get it home.

I know I don't need to, but I still use the kickstarter at least 10% of the time. It's way quieter than the starter motor is so it's nice for those ultra quiet sneaking out for a ride moments (I also realized if the front door is closed, you can hear the starter motor as it starts, but you can't hear the engine itself running, so it's VERY stealthy)

Got the bike home today just in time for it's maiden shake down run during the evening commute. Drove just over 45 miles around town and along a sort of rural straight away.

I'm sure these modern engines come pretty close to broke in from the factory, but having built a few engines I like to think the 1st 20 miles or so are critical for ring seating.

It didn't have a problem keeping up with traffic and we have some of the most careless, self absorbed, and entitled drivers in the country.

I'll end up commuting on the bike and maybe strip down and paint the daily '94 Nissan D21 like I've been meaning to do for about a decade or so.

Need more garage space.
