New Member . Looking to buy a Honda Trail.

Hello,
My name is Mark. I currently own a 1983 Honda Areo 80 scooter and a 1984 Honda Gl500 Silverwing Interstate.

I was Looking for a 1970-1980 CT90 to round out my collection. After some thought, I decided to go new. I called my local Dealer and they cannot get one and they do know if they will have one this year. I was put on a list. I want to buy this month So I am going to call around the Northeast . I love in New York.

Hopefully I will be a co owner of one of these machines!

Hello, Thanks for the link on Motohunt.
I called a few dealerships and they all say there is no availability. They do not know if there will be a 2022 model released. MY local dealer has 10 $500 deposits on a Trail 125 with no delivery date. Crazy world we live in.

Welcome to the forum MarkL! Some folks have gotten lucky but I’d plan on a wait. The advice above is solid. It’s going to take some work to get one quick. They are worth the wait though, especially considering the current fuel prices.

My local dealer said they not get any 2022 models. They said they expect to get 2023 around October. I put my name in for one. In the meantime, I bought a 1979 CT90.
I paid 2700 for it. It was the best one I could find.

Looks like a fun ride to hold you over. That aux fuel can is worth a few hundred dollars on its own, keep a close eye on it!

Congratulations on the CT90. I have a ‘79 model as well that I’ve had for awhile. I just started working on it Thursday to get her going. She’s the last one that I have that needs some love.
