Just finished my 3rd ride on my 2023 Trail 125. First was 30 miles, 2nd 15 miles and the 3rd was 46 miles. All on forrest roads. My speed was 15 to 20 mph and only got in 4th gear occasionally. Had a few odd noises the first trip and after that none. Do hear the clutch holding back going downhill in a higher gear. Guess that’s normal. Used about 3/4 tank of gas total. This is my first bike to own and it performs just as I expected. I’m happy with everything about it. I do have a sore bottom after a ride. Would adjusting the rear shocks help? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

3 things that greatly improved the bike for me- xr100 fork springs, the treatland rear shocks, and a gel seat cover. I did a few 4-5 hour rides without an issue with the seat cover.

Edit: The XR100 springs came from Amazon for about 60. The treatland shocks are the most expensive at 220 (they do have sales frequently, and this is still the cheapest option). The gel cover was from Ebay for like 15 bucks.

If you're riding the bike for any distance and it gives you a sore bottom, I'd recommend you start by looking at aftermarket seats or seat pads. The stock seat's lack of comfort for anything longer than a short ride is a very common complaint.

I had no problem with the Corbin seat riding 450 miles straight. The only problem I do have is that my Wiruswin backrest eats two holes in the Corbin on either side.
