thanks. I don't do many 'on board' videos anymore TBH. If I do one, it''ll be posted up on youtube. there's plenty of older ones from other bikes on my account though. (vid link of the fire up on the previous page) .

small vid of it running with electronic igntion adapted to it. Had to hand cut the plate for now but its a bolt-on with no destructive mods.

modified trigger & stock points cam and advance unit:

mounted, set screw on other side. case sealant used to 'dampen' and help hold unit. this thing spins 10K plus. also put in lathe and turned true to handle the offset of using a points cam as a base

cut plate from aluminum, by hand.
have a laser cut one on the way as well.

Wow, nice project, looks great! As I remember in the 70's Suzuki had a 120 or 125 2-stroke twin.

yes it is safety wired, racing trick/method. if you run a clip link at some tracks they will require it to be safety wired. I hate rivet link masters. the suzuki had the 125 stingers, near impossible to find a high pipe model, I'd kill for one. thanks!

Coming into this thread late - but beautiful work man!
I remember them well and love those old parallel twins. Had a '72 CL350 I found a few years ago, 'brought it back', and kind of the same story as your yellow bike sold it for what was then a considerable fistfull of dollars. Wish now that I'd have kept it. So this winter I'm doing it once again, this time with a '71 SL350.
Your little 100cc Yammer couldn't have found a better home (y)
They ought to offer tax incentives for restoring these old machines, kind of like those amazing old houses on the national or state historical registries!

we are discussing a tiny bike ride up TO the mts , me on this and my buddy on his 81? AR80. If we do the full run to deals gap, estimate between 5.5 to 7 hours seat time. lol. Might do a shorter trip up to hendersonville instead which is about 120 miles via back roads, or 3.5-4 hours est.
