Hello everyone. Just purchased a new 2022 red Trail 125 today. Very few bikes catch my interest these days as I own pretty much everything I want. However, I saw this bike during bike week and talked with the owner for an hour and today found one for sale....should be fun!

Welcome to the fun. A few of us are planning on getting together in the near future (April was suggested) for a ride somewhere west of Jacksonville... I'm going to start doing some scouting for some easy trail rides, and or some low speed/low traffic roads and attempting to put together a projected route. I'll post a new topic in a few days over on the social/meetup forum, watch for it, and feel free to join, and or provide input as you would like. Someone made me the leader of this ride (although I didn't apply for the job, and generally refuse such things), but I'm over this way, and so it's not a burden on me. The goal will be to avoid mud/water/deep sand... a tall order actually. I have ridden a good bit up in Osceola National Forest over the years (truck/ATV), at the moment that place is super wet, and getting wetter by the minute, so we are looking south of that, I spoke with an FWC guy yesterday who has been spending a bit of time in a helo lately, and he said good luck, water, water everywhere. Personally I run on a lot of paved roads, I just pick and choose when, and I prioritize roads with bike lanes, if things get tight, I'll slip over and let people go by. So what is the use case you have in mind for your Little Red Donkey?

I bought it without much thought to how I'll use it, I just like the bike. Have had a couple CT90/110's over the years and learned to ride on one in the 60's when i was about 10. I have other bikes that cover all niches so will likely just ride this one to the store, farmers market, some dirt roads, bike shows....and who knows what else I'll find.

That pretty much mimics my story, and probably a few others on this forum as well... started out my "motorcycle" career back in the 60's on a Honda, and rode a trail 90 for a while, before I moved on to many other bikes, mostly all Honda's. Ran across these again, and decided to pick on up, although that was a bit harder for me... took me a couple months to source a 2023... But in general I'm happy with it, and plan to ride it into the sunset, probably my last bike, but I'm perfectly happy with that as well. Low Speed / High Drag is just fine with me at this point.
