Just to let everyone know that I appreciate all the tech and stories here it's pretty cool.
I haven't seen anything on the original exaust on here or the NK head pipe I got through eBay.
Much to my surprise there are two catalytic converters in the original exhaust.
The NK head pipe worked out nicely with a bit of chop and welding.
End result, a nice deep sound and a bit louder.
Seems like a bit more pull.IMG20230812083724.jpgIMG20230818130318.jpgIMG20230818130335.jpg

Thanks, the tach is a " runleader" it's a cheap eBay thing that was about 30 bucks if I can remember.
I mostly use it for temperature . Has a hour meter ect,
Clock is never right..

No cat's it came with a pipe that actually goes into the muffler and I added the fitting for a o2 in case I decided on the mini 5 later.
Sorry I didn't take a picture of that while doing it, kinda wanted to get it back on the road.
It did require a bit of patience to fit properly.

Also on that I did add about 1/2" on the bend coming out of the head, it hug's the cylinder really close and I was concerned it could cause an overheat issue. The original pipe was also a double tube from the first cat into the muffler. So I did add some header wrap close to the body work I was afraid it could warp the plastic.
