Thats amazing
She took 3rd place in the "call cup" with that CBR.

Are you saying that there is an additional baffle included with the system that could be used to quiet it down more? There is a baffle pictured on the Webike site. Is that the extra baffle you are referring to?

Sorry for the confusion, lapse in my memory here as the place to install the quieter baffle is at the exhaust tip. The Outex exhaust has two places for a baffle or silencer. One is inline before the muffler, one is the exhaust tip.

Before the muffler you can install the included "Torque-Up Punching Pipe", install a honeycomb exhaust catalyzer (sold separate), or omit it entirely. I installed the included "Torque-Up Punching Pipe".

The other spot for a baffle is the exhaust tip, there is a removable silencer. The exhaust kit I bought included the larger inner diameter (louder) tip that is listed as 87 dB, but at the time there was also the option to select the smaller inner diameter (quieter) tip listed as 79 dB. I bought the 87 dB kit and then put in a custom order request asking for the 79 dB one which WeBike ended up selling to me with a vague item description of "OUTEX Sound deadening perforated baffle with SUS wool (for Cub series". I never ended up installing it, but when it arrived I did eye it up just to make sure I received the smaller inner diameter one.
The SUS wool is stainless steel wool included to wrap the exhaust tip in for reducing noise and back pressure, many manufacturers use it (and/or fiberglass) for that purpose.

WeBike since removed the specific product listing that I bought my exhaust from but these are the specifics of my item order:
OUTEX OUTEX Exhaust System [Type]Up Type [Material] Exhaust pipe: stainless steel [Silencer pipe size]Φ80X300L [Proximity noise measurement] 87dB(A)/3500rpm (with baffle 32 pie and torque up punching pipe) [Specification] 2 pieces(Spring joint type) ・Straig
Item number[OUTEX.R-SA-UP-S-PP] HONDA Silencer type:Aluminu

People have fitted other quieter exhaust tips to the Outex exhaust, including ones from Daytona:

Is it just me, or is there anyone else who really appreciates how quiet the Trail 125 is? I know a number of folks on the forum really appreciate their aftermarket exhaust systems. More power to ya! Literally. But I'll sacrifice a little power for a bit more peace and quiet.
For me quiet all day!

Riding areas where I live are limited. The trail is so quiet I can ride it in gray areas… without raising any attention. And when someone does see me they usually just wave after having a look at it. It comes off so friendly… I’m positive thst wouldn’t happen on a larger louder bike

Quiet for me too. Two reasons: 1) One of the guys I ride with has Tinnitus and loud noises bother him. 2) The forest roads I like to ride are shared with other users who aren't generally a fan of motorized recreation to begin with. Bonus that twice while riding my TW (which has a stock exhaust) I've snuck-up on wildlife (I followed a Deer for 1/4 mile or so once on a trail just outside of Angelus Oaks in So,Cal.) That was fun and likely wouldn't have happened had I been running a loud exhaust.

To each their own though. Twenty years ago I likely would have had a different opinion. Two of my trucks have cat-back exhausts. Neither are obnoxious but are a bit throatier.

I am in the quiet camp as well. My first ride I startled deer in the road and ROW in three different spots. I was right on top of them before they spotted me. The squeaks and rattles on my electric bicycle make more noise!

I have tinnitus, I love that the bike is quiet. But most of all I love that I can have conversations easily with people standing next to me if needed. For rude drivers there's sign language, for polite driver's there's thank you's and "would you like some help"
Dingo, the tinnitus is another thing we have in common. I've had it bad for years. Probably a 7 or 8 on the 10 scale! It's ever-present. Too many loud rock and roll concerts did it for me. Probably the biggest offender was Led Zeppelin. Ironically, the concert was on 4/20/77! Don't know if you're aware of Vibes, ear plugs for loud concerts and other events. They lower the decibels without ruining the sound quality. I only learned of them about a year ago. I've used them once and they do work. Btw, a few of the photos from that concert are on my (somewhat outdated) website,
