Seasonal oil change

Many of you who ride less then 4000 miles a season only change the oil out once a year, and that’s fine. But consider doing it now and not at the start of your riding season. This way the bike sits with fresh oil and not the dirty oil in the gear box. I ride it all year almost so it isn’t an issue. And instead of a battery maintainer I use some extra 12vdc, 18Amp Hour batteries left over from some fire alarm panel installs. I just plug it in and done deal. There’s no constant power where I have a couple of my bikes stored. Just something to think about as the season ends for a lot of you.

I learned (the hard way) that it is easier to do your tires that are getting low on tread while it's warm, and not while it is **checks notes** raining, cold, and the police have told you that you can't store your motorcycle there during the day, they'll tow it if you do.

About battery. I consider, that once good charging and disconnecting minus wire is enough, if bike is storing in warm place
