Hi, im getting a set of shinko 244 for my scooter and ive read several posts that seem to suggest that i should get 2.5x17 in the front and 3.0 in the rear for no modifications to my fenders. Am i understanding this correctly or am I supposed to match the front and rear sizes? also can anyone recommend tube sizes for these tires? thanks

Inner tubes usually list which tire sizes they're suitable for. It's often a range, so some are listed as fitting both 2.50x17 and 3.00x17 tires. The OEM tubes cover that range of tire sizes. Honda P/N: 42712-K2E-T02
Plenty of other options though if you search for 2.50x17 or 3.00x17 tubes wherever you buy your motorcycle parts from.

I wish they made 244’s in 2.75 I would run that on the front. Thinking if running Kendra 272 on the front given it comes in 2.75. Something I need to get on with. These OEM tires do not like sand at all, and we have a. Fair bit of it here in Florida

I haven't run it, but look up the Vee Rubber VRM-022 which comes in 2.75-17 and can be purchased through some USA tire shops online. Tread pattern looks similar to the Shinko 244.
