I lowered the air pressure 5 pds front and back and went for a short ride in the desert around the Rv Park, I did better than I expected with the stock tires. The deep sand parts I paddled thru. Thinking about getting a gopro and learning to post a few videos.

Awesome view. I’m a mess in sand. The stock tires, mine at least, hate it.
I'm forced to do the opposite of the recommended power up, shift the weight to rear wheel and go. I have to slow down and occasionally put a foot down. I'm hoping putting a 300x17 front and back helps a little. I hope to get a lot better over the next yr here.

We have a lot of deep sand my way. I still have the stock tires mounted but have 2 other types waiting. I haven’t ventured into the sand yet. However, having gotten my Ural stuck in sand before, getting a sub-300lb bike will surely be easier to muscle out than an 800lb one.

You don't have a 2 ton cable winch and a hundred feet of good rope in the trunk?
