South Central Ohio (7 caves dirty route)

Got a chance to get out on the CT in a beautiful part of south central Ohio. A local gravel bike group puts out gpx files of multiple routes in the area which are typically great for rides on the "Trail". I mention this in case others may have similar groups in their area. Southern Ohio does have some really nice riding.

Looks like a nice ride. I'm in SW Ohio, about halfway between Dayton and Cincinnati. What's the nearest town to this area?

If your talking "real" town, probably Hillsboro. It's centered around Bainbridge.

Also look up the "S.O.A.L" (Southern Ohio Adventure Loop" if you haven't heard of it. Part of this ride is shared with the SOAL.

If you ever want another Trail to ride with let me know, I'm on the east side of Cincy.

Thanks for the information. I'm a bit reluctant to ride in much traffic due to all the crazies on the roads. I'm hoping to outfit my van with a method to put the bike in the van in order take it to locations that are not close to my home. I'd be up for riding with you when I get outfitted to transport the bike. Are you riding to distant locations on your bike or transporting some other way?

I have ridden out to this location and back from my area but takes a bit longer as I try to stay off the faster roads. I have a hitch carrier I used to transport it out on this last trip but in reality comes down to how much time I have or how long a ride I'm looking for or how much gas I want to save vs the V8 SUV as it's doable on 90% backroads and loading/unloading and strapping twice makes the time difference about a wash.
