Which model Super Cub? The newer Super Cub (C125) has tubeless rims, while the older ones are tube type. Most knobby tires sized for 17" rims are tube type. Doesn't mean you can't run them on a tubeless rim, just means they aren't designed for it and it's not recommended. The bead might not safely seat or the tire carcass might leak more air over time.

I cannot verify this but Shinko’s dual-sport SR241 are listed in this article:
Guess they're running tubes on tubeless wheels? meh. On the other hand: the wheels would be so heavy there would be amazing gyroscopic energy for stability!

I've been looking for some for wife's Cub but have had some distractions.
I know, people will say "get a different bike!" or "you bought the wrong bike!". Nah. I bought the SC to hold me over until I got a Trail and now my wife rides it. She's always talked about wanting something like this and she loves it!
But... she thinks nothing of going on any surface that's under her and she might be less inclined to lose traction with slightly knobbier tires.
I've talked to her about it, but she's got a wild streak. Trail is too big for her. Knobbies would help but she's just gonna have to control herself!
Please post if you find anything that works.

Same here, wife loves her Super Cub but the Cub does not like Mi. sand roads very much.

fwiw you can run a tube in a tire on a tube less rim, have done it many times and plenty safe.

Fwiw I ran tube tires as tubeless for 2400 miles on multiple terrain roads without any tire issues, I suspect running max air pressures helped with sidewall and bead retention? Run at your own risks though.
