Has anyone installed a stand alone tachometer (stand alone- meaning a tach not associated to an expensive gauge setup (i.e. OPMID))? If so what did you go with and do you have any pictures of it installed?

What is the redline of these little 125’s?

Those inexpensive gauges are easy to install just a few wraps around the spark plug wire and secure it well. The one I had worked great until I got caught out in a heavy rain.........kaput. If you want to just use it to see what to expect in different gears it will do. For a permanent gauge you'll have to put a few more nickles together.

I thought about installing something like this, then decided it would be a waste of $$$$, because it is what it is with these little beasts, you run em at top end, who cares about knowing the RPM's
