Concur that it really likes 45 in 4th. Wide open on flat I can get 55 but it struggles and heat builds up. Down hill I can get 60+ but over-speed green lights on the OPMID start to flash. I set up to 7000 and over-speed at 7500 when red comes on between the two green.

with the cam and decat & efie, here at home i can hit 58-60 flatland repeatedly. in the mountains with those mods, i was able to hold 48 up the very long hill on 28 off hwy 74. that hill is miles long too. I was ok with that. Headwinds were the biggest issue I found.

45 mph is nearly 3 seconds in free fall..lets face it it would still hurt.
I have told a few people who like to debate riding gear (there's no helmet law in my state) 'if gears not needed at low speed,, jump out of a car at 25 mph tell me how that feels'.

Going south on 28 towards Franklin? That’s impressive to hold that much speed on the little bike. That is one of my favorite stretches of road, but it’s so much busier now than it used to be, so I don’t ride much anymore when I’m down there. My monkey falls on its face on the little hills around here, so that’s impressive.

going towards fontana from 74 actually. (so the other way)
Ahh, ok. I guess I don’t really remember a big hill that direction, well, any bigger than any other. Then again I’m either on my 937cc Ducati twin or 1050cc Triumph triple when I’m there so hills are really not something I ever think about, lol!!!!

I was just down there last month with my wife and normally “avoid” the Cherahola Skyway, 28 and 129 unless I’m specifically going for the people watching and hanging out, but we went south on 28 for a bit off 74 and there were a few areas I forgot about because it’s been so long and was surprised how much elevation change there was. Great area to ride for sure……..
