So I'll admit this wasn't much of a ride, though it was the first trip I've taken my Trail on in the year I've owned it, also the most I've ridden it. Total miles over three days were just under 70, all of it riding mostly the streets around Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City, though I did do a couple of miles of trails and made the requisite lap around the lake just about sunset, which was great, but also windy on the North-side of the lake, just outside of Fawnskin.
This bike was truly in it's element in this area! I had worried that the elevation would be an issue as it had been on a Grom I used to own and once brought to this same area but other then taking an extra second or two of cranking to start, the Trail performed flawlessly! The speed limit in this area maxes-out at 40 so I found Third gear was where the bike was it's happiest. My only complaint was that I feel like it needs more aggressive tires for actual trail riding, but I'll resolve that before next month's trip.
Picking-up my Camper from storage near the Campground. I love my rack, but hated it being on the front of this truck. On my larger Silverado it seemed to work better then it did on my mid-sized Tacoma. It also messed-up the handling of the truck and blocked my front turn signals. Plus it looked weird before I picked-up the Camper.
Out for a ride around the lake. Would have gotten a more scenic pic but I was waiting for the rest of my group and wanted to stop in a place where they'd see me.

Camp. This bike looked very at home in this enviroment
My Trail on it's first Trail! Oh, and an Alpine meadow!
Going home. I was much happier hauling off the rear hitch as opposed to the front. Hitch carrier has an LED light strip which work as Trail/Brake and Turn Signals since my larger bikes tend to block the taillights on my smaller trucks.
