Note that there is no disclaimer/warning currently on the site for this, but the front carrier is for 2023 (JA65) models and requires the 2023 meter stay to be retrofitted to earlier (JA55) model years.

dmonkey, thanks for posting the link. Interesting that they show red in the photos on the USA site.. oops! That is pretty misleading. As we have discussed ad nauseum, the center rack fits any year Trail 125 and IMHO it is a very good choice and perhaps the best choice you can make for a center rack. However, also IMHO, you can do much better with almost any other front rack, unless you plan to fit the windshield. Without the windshield, again IMHO, the rack is too small to be useful, and the brackets on the side look silly and imply that something is missing. Others here strongly disagree and like the front rack above all other choices, They think it looks better than all the others and don't plan to carry very much there anyway. Maybe you could fit a pair of PIAA lights there and make use of the brackets or figure out another use for them. Still unanswered is why Honda Powersports USA decided not to add the windshield to the accessory list. The prevailing guess seems to be that it simply US Government overreach about a perceived safety issue. Is that the reason? Since it is offered at the dealers in Canada and Japan and perhaps other countries, I wouldn't think it would be a supply issue.

I do think it's odd that Honda haven't brought the windscreen to the US market, though they are delivering on exactly the accessories they mentioned on social media (Instagram). No more, and no less.

FMVSS No. 205 specifies windscreen material requirements for the USA. The Honda OEM accessory windscreen is made of polycarbonate so it seems it could meet the material requirement, the rest would just be Honda validating it meets all requirements and marking the windscreen as such. DOT does not literally approve equipment as one might think from reading "DOT Approved", that is the manufacturer of a product validating and then stating it meets DOT requirements. Honda as a company likely design or spec most or all products with these requirements and process in mind right off the bat, not like they haven't sold a motorcycle windscreen in the USA before! The requirements don't seem very overreaching considering the many small companies producing and selling motorcycle accessory windscreens to the US market. That's why I find it particularly interesting that Honda don't seem to have done that for this windscreen.

Does yours have any markings on it other than the Honda logo?

With that aerodynamic advantage you might be able to hit 60 MPH!!! I agree it looks great. I you don't mind me asking, what was your final price including shipping?

From Webike it was $194.14 including shipping. Try to use a credit card that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee.

Sorry, I don't know and didn't realize there was a part number difference. I bought all of the JA65 accessories on Webike before the JA65 came to the USA market. At the time, I didn't know that the front and center racks would be sold by the USA dealers. I think dmonkey will know the answer as he is more up on these things than I am. Thanks for the comments on the YouTube channel..much appreciated.

I don't know of the physical difference, if any, either. The only difference in the instructions seems to be the part number.
Japan & Canada Front Carrier part number: 08L79-K2E-J10, Canada instructions
USA Front Carrier part number: 08L71-K2E-A10, USA instructions

Usually the difference between "A" and "J" in the part number is North American market vs Japanese market, but in the case of the Canadian CT125 it has more similarities to the Japanese market model than the USA market model does.
