    Anyone in Sacramento Area

About where in town are you? Sadly I just made the decision to sell mine yesterday. Not because I don't like the bike, but for financial reasons. I'll be in and out of town the next few weeks but I wouldn't mind meeting up and going for a ride if timing syncs up. I'll PM you my number.

    143 Takegawa cyl install.

I read this a few days ago and had to come back to it... what experiences have you had with Yuminashi parts that gives you such a poor opinion of them? Not arguing, just curious. I'm new to small displacement engines.

Special Parts Takegawa Sports Exhaust System

@dmonkey / @chuckklr98 did either of you guys happen to measure the ID of the inlet on the Takegawa Sports exhaust? Or do you recall noticing if it was larger than the OE pipe? I'm tying to decide if I want to go aftermarket or cut the OE cat open and gut it. I like the OE look and how quiet...

    ARacer base map only

Has anybody tried an ARacer Mini X with only the basemap / no wideband? I'm trying to be cheap and get a little more power/response without spending an additional $700 on an AF2 + aftermatket exhaust (I guess you could gut the cat on the OEM muffler and put an O2 bung there...) My experience...

My 5-Speed Manual Conversion / Tutorial

I put a TB Parts clutch disk set in (stock replacement) and things are improved. Still pops out of gear sometimes but a lot less often. Shifting is smoother. Neutral is now easy to find at idle/standing still. I removed the stack of washers on the clutch cable receiver @ the slave cylinder...

My 5-Speed Manual Conversion / Tutorial

Another thing I've heard Grom guys say is that using a "shifter support bracket" (as in an external shift drum bracket on the left case) minimizes false neutrals. I hope the Yuminashi gearbox is okay, I don't really want to spend $500-600 on a Takegawa or Kitaco tranny.

My 5-Speed Manual Conversion / Tutorial

The disks are actually slightly thicker on the OEM Grom clutch, but there is one less compared to the SMR clutch. The total height of the SMR stack is higher than stock Grom, and for the same through length on either disk set, the SMR will have less total separation between the plates so that...

My 5-Speed Manual Conversion / Tutorial

The bike only had like 120 miles on it when I did the conversion so its hard to say for sure, but it does seem zippier. After all you're adding torque by effectively lowering the gearing. Top speed is the same.
