    Jerky Down shifting

FWIW - I used Kawasaki 10W/40 motor oil on the last oil change and shifting greatly improved. As others have indicated a throttle blip just before/as the downshift occurs helps. Going to 1st still isn't as smooth but think it's just a byproduct of the auto clutch.

'238' cam, for lower end/midrange installed

With those restrictions not improvement is possible. A free flowing exhaust will be louder, ask opinions on what's loud and everyone has an opinion. Some think an open pipe on a KZ100 isn't to loud. Add more fuel - need a way to exhaust it Add exhaust and more fuel helps Add a cam and more...

    Best non-BBK power mods?

I have a $300 + Bazzaz on the Z125 and it's been more challenging to fuel properly than the CT125 with the EFIE device. The research has been done on Groms, Monkeys, & Trails for the EFIE and the settings readily available for Hondas work well. I have debated removing the Bazzaz and trying the...

Well, I said this was going to be my last bike... maybe not!

The Triumph 400 Scrambler looks like a great value and a nice motorcycle. Much less expensive than the Honda CL500 and has a better look. Aesthetics matter to me and the Scrambler is a good looking bile that is reminiscent of the Honda CL's I hade in high school.

    What is this?

:) No power strip but there was a trouble/work light with a reset at the plug in the ceiling. Will check that for fitment. Thanks for sharing!

Any suspension changes 22 to 24?

I have an older model and weigh less, upgraded the shocks, would reach full travel on a couple of dips I travel over routinely. I went with BBR CRF100 fork springs (with Kitaco preload fork caps) pleasant results, looked at the YSS fork kit but decided against it. We have been a BBR customer...

Hauling on hitch mounted rack with RAV-4

According to the Toyota website the tongue weight max on a regular Rav4 is 150 pounds, slightly more for a hybrid. The Trail weighs about 260, assume the rack is 40 puts the gross at 300. Will it work, probably but it is double what Toyota recommends. We have a Rav4 and it pulled a Kendon...
