    CT 125/trail Suspension upgrades

Hi, no I never did. Adding a bit more oil was about as quiet as I ever got it. I ended up selling the bike, it even did it with the aftermarket springs so I never did figure out the source.

    Sprockets

After lots more miles and going back and forth between the 14 and 15t sprockets, I agree that there is just no substitute for power. My preference might differ from most in that in addition to more speed I'd like less buzz. The 15t helps, and I've added lots of bar weight and grip puppies and...

    USB Charger

FYI, looks to me if you pick up the USB charger for the Super Cub it includes a connector that will plug into the 4 prong diagnostic connector by the battery. You don't get the bar mount but you don't need that on the Trail anyway. KITACO : USB Power Supply Kit [757-1310000] (webike.net)...

    Sprockets

After 1700 miles I'm wanting a calmer motor at top speed and less buzz rather than a few mph difference on hills by going with lower gearing. I use this bike to cover ground, and even though I try to stick to dirt, long stretches of pavement are unavoidable. I've accepted the power...

    Handlebar Risers

I went with these in 30mm, they offer them in 40mm. I liked that they don't have the additional machining like most, and fit a little closer to flush with the stock lower clamp. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TP6NR7M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_8N2EPWRZFNYYQFH70W3R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

    Checking oil

A great question/point. It makes a noticeable difference on the stick whether the front tire is off the ground or on. During a service it makes the most sense to just add 700ml and be done, but on the trail it's not so straightforward. On my last ride of 350 miles, I checked it about 150...

    CT 125/trail Suspension upgrades

Yes, I even drained it and refilled it to be sure. I used 15wt which seemed to help but I still get the clunking noise. Starting to wonder if it it's not coming from the headset.

    Reserve Fuel container options.

Due to this bikes on road performance, so far I have planned my trips around dirt backroads and extra gas allows me to stay away from civilization longer. First one was 230 miles, I was many miles from a gas station.
