Hey all,

Got the new valve cover Kitaco Oil cooler from webike yesterday!

Install went great, the bracket to mount the cooler is compatable with the Honda accessory center rack.. almost like they planed that! a perfect fit :) so stoked!

Went for a short ride last night and it seemed to be working well, the heat drop from the inlet to the outlet is very noticeable. Hopefully this will help with the heat soak issues/power loss.

Looks like a nice setup. How much oil volume does it add? Were you having heat soak issues before?

The instructions called for additional oil of 75-100ml. Yea, i live in hawaii and its always hot here, i also ride at wot basically everywhere so it frequently got heat soaked, most noticeably on hills or long highway runs.

Does the oil cooler have a thermostat? I live in NH and I don't think my engine ever gets hot. Compared to other 4 stroke street bikes.

The idea of keeping the oil "cooler" seems like a good thing, but I seriously doubt I have heat issues. I rarely push the little donkey past 45... I just want it to last forever. Forever being relative... to my age, and condition. I suspect it will have no issues out lasting me.
