    Kitaco Oil Cooler

Looks like a decent piece of Kit... @eastema looks like no thermostat. Riding here in Florida 8 months out of the year this might be a good thing... guess I could always cover it up in the winter. https://japan.webike.net/products/25971363.html

Sold Stock IRC Tires - Minneapolis, MN

What do you think about the 308's? Happy with them? Did you or did you have them balanced? Mine are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Just curious on your experience with them... My OEM front tire is obviously not balanced. Not horrible, but certainly not balanced.

    Tires Megathread

Well dang... just yesterday at lunch... I gave up and purchased something else... I ordered a set of Duro HF308 3.00-17's

What do you think of the bike now?

I just crossed 1,000 on mine sometime in the last week... I've been busy with other things so I've not ridden as much. I really like the little bike, it is however just too slow for practical use in my area... In order to get into towns where it's actually really fun to ride, all the feeder...

2023 600 mile service... Standby for news!

Yep 100% right there while I was searching all over the interwebs for it.

    New rear container idea?

Just yesterday I needed to transport a bee hive... was thinking if only I had a box this thing would fit in... but I thought better of it. Not sure the vibration/resonance of the Trail would promote tranquility in the hive... So I opted for a different mode of transport.

    New rear container idea?

I often need to carry papers, and stuff... so a slightly smaller unit (Single Drawer) might work... generally you can get these that are lockable as well. Just need to build a quick mount for easy on/off the bike. When can we expect to see the Alpha Model, or better yet a Beta Test Unit...

2023 600 mile service... Standby for news!

Interesting… I have actually looked at that sticker, it’s becoming obvious I failed to comprehend what it says. :) When it stops raining I’ll wander out to the garage and try and pound that knowledge into my thick skull.

Well, I said this was going to be my last bike... maybe not!

I’ll look around some more and I’ll not just blindly purchase one of these. But I don’t want a purely street bike, and I’m aging so I don’t want a 400 lb bike either. I’m gonna go to one of their open houses and soak in some firsthand knowledge. Suggestions on other bikes are welcome.

Well, I said this was going to be my last bike... maybe not!

It is a Chinese eng/transmission but it’s apparently decent quality, everything else else is mostly hand made right here in America. It’s and old school motorcycle, with few refinements for sure. It’s only money, and it’s fake money at that. ;) Do I wish it had a Honda Engine/transmission...

Well that is looking back… way back. But I’ll likely keep my trail.

Don't get me wrong, I'm more or less happy with the trail... but something special has come along... that I think I just have to have. Janus Gryffin 250

    Transporting a Donkey...

Donkey went on his first ride today (on a leash) he didn’t complain too much. Only mod I made to the straps was to put ranger bands on the hooks to ensure they can’t come loose

Recommend some MUST HAVE oem parts?

I don’t have the part number but get the gasket kit for doing the spinner oil filter service.

    New crop of riders!

Well of course the best oil is... 😱

    Tires Megathread

I struggle with this as well... my OEM tires are definitely 3.15 or so... in width.

Hauling on hitch mounted rack with RAV-4

So in reflection of my previous post, It was not my intent to throw water on your being able to haul your bike, and I'm not suggesting you should just go out and buy a bigger car/truck. So what I would do is crawl under there and look at how the receiver is attached, if it's not a full frame...
