Added a few things to my ‘24

Donkeys are very reliable. People who think they are unreliable or stubborn do not understand they will not engage in "hold my beer, watch this" activities. People who say they are poor natured choose the stick when the carrot is a much better choice. They cannot do the heavy work that a horse...

Added a few things to my ‘24

Why does donkey offend you? Donkeys are tuff smart little guys. The may not be as handsome as a horse, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or as strong but they more than make up for those things with their brains and temperament. In short donkey is a compliment.

Looking for recommendation for new rear tire

These may be silly questions. Did you tighten the stem and recheck it? Why can't you just get a new stem core and replace it? Simple quick and cheap.

    Ford F250 vs F350

It seems you already have answered the question. The 6.8 is NA so I believe it will hold up better on the long haul than the turbos that Ford has made in Mexico. It will certainly fill the slot you have for it. One other aspect you may wish to consider is how soon do you really need it? Sounds...

    Ford F250 vs F350

First ask yourself if you really need the heavier duty truck. Had f150 v6 standard or many years and found it just a little lacking for the chore at hand once in a while upgraded to an 250. Great truck but the hit on gas didn't really justify it. It was my daily driver. If it's not your daily...

I'm frustrate about how to take my little donkey with camping trailer?

Seems like two options. In the bed of the truck. Easiest least likely to have complications. If you need the bed for other duties then front mount is an option. That extra weight out front can cause issues with handling I have been told. If you are buying a new F150 yu might want one set up to...

Sold 2023 Trail 125 in Middle Tennessee . All original with 1,330 miles. In great shape.

Bike looks to be as good as new. Reasonable asking price too, it should move pretty quick this time of year. Curious as to why you are selling. Not quite what you expected, want a different bike that is faster?

    The “gremlin” bell?

I didn't know the Gremlin bell helps remove abrasive steel particles from the oil even when they are so small the oil filter can't catch them.

    Ever seen one of these?

We all owe the Japanese car manufacturers some thanks even if you drive "American". They FORCED the domestic manufactures to up their game if they wanted to remain on the field. The Koreans are on the rise for sure. Their cars are still hit and mostly miss if you run your stuff past 100,000...

    Ever seen one of these?

Some people seem to see political social issues where they are not the driving factors in a decision. Junk is junk and quality is quality no matter who made it where. 🤷‍♂️

    Gear shift lever

Drill it and use the longer bolt with nylock will be the easiest quickest and arguably strongest solution.

    Outdoor cover

New Orleans is a harsh environment in more ways than one. I can't give advice on a cover. Whatever cover you do use keep the bike clean, waxed and make use of products that will minimize corrosion. Invest in a heavy duty chain and lock and find something substantial to anchor to. If you are one...

Suggestions for discreet urban riding boots?

That is an old suggestion that had more relevance back in the 70s but it probably is still wise if you buy lower end helmets. Top end helmets can last longer, much. Simply dropping your helmet is not likely to damage the impact liner, an impact that rang your bell is another matter altogether...

    The “gremlin” bell?

Its more of a Harley community thing. A talisman to ward off pesky gremlins that Harleys seem to attract. It has no power if one buys their own, it must be a gift. A little thing that is given as a token of respect and friendship rather than any real belief it wards off mishap. The bell...
