    Heated Gloves?

Thinking I might like to try a pair of heated gloves(self-contained battery type) Anybody care to share their experiences on what works or what to avoid? I have a farm where I keep some cows that is about a 30 minute ride via backroads. Not a cross continent journey; so a couple hours of heat...

    Anti-Fog

Went for a nice day-break ride this morning. Had to stop more than once for helmet visor and glasses fogging up. Solutions? Weekend rides at daybreak are my preferred time to be on the road.

    Versys 300-X ABS

Thinking I want one. What is the good and not so good on the 300-X?

    OnX Offroad

I am long time user of On X Hunt software for mapping property boundaries. Today I downloaded their "Offroad" software and took a short ride and made a GPS track. Seems like quite a bit of functionality for a $30 subscription. I am still clueless on most of its functions. Anyone else using it?

    BeezDeals and DHL Rock!!

I ordered a Diablo seat. I haven't yet opened the box, but I was so impressed that it arrived in less than a week's time from Thailand and packaged in an extra heavy duty cardboard box in pristine condition rather than the shredded packages with the contents falling out that I usually get from...

    Octane?

I have a "fleet" of various small engines and will go through 20-25 gallons a month. I fill the cans with 93 and a healthy dose of Stabil. Never have any carb or water issues in my stuff. As I ride mostly off-road and backroads, I fill the Trail out of small engine cache. I noticed a little...

    Honda Trail at Work

sort of. One of my "justifications" was that the Trail 125 would be so economical {and fun} to use to check on the cows down at my other farm 15 miles of twisty backroads away. Yup us poor part time ranchers have to "work" Sundays too! The collapsible basket handles a 5 gallon bucket full of...

    Dual Sport Trails

I have been watching a number of videos recorded at various area public trails. and note stark differences compared to the riding videos posted here on the forum. Makes me wonder how some of the you tube warriors passed the motorcycle skills test. So, what type of riders are you commonly...

    Matching GPS

Cellphones are generally adequate for highway travel these days but what GPS unit are a decent match for the places a Trail 125 would take you?

    Centrifugal Clutch

My theory is the centrifugal clutch is key to the trail performance of the Honda Trail as it eliminates stalling and tends to slip the clutch rather than the tire making it easier to maintain traction and precise control at very low speed. The clutch design and low horsepower engine are a...

    Fit and Finish

One of the things that stands out to me is the bike appears to be so well designed and manufactured. It's like they decided to build it the best they could (within practical constraints) and that its appearance is not the only connection to the original that was built in a time that such items...

    Putnam Knob

I own a little tract on the north side of Putnam Knob. I had it logged last summer and had to bring in a dozer to cut roads to get the skidder to the top and around the face. I wanted to see if the Honda Trail was up to the task. Its abnormally dry for April here but the little fella hauled my...

    Greetings from Central KY

Picked mine up 2 days ago. 36 miles of backroads and a quick trip off road around the farm. I think the sweet spot is 30-35mph on our crooked country lanes; of which we have an endless supply. I am all smiles!
