    Sold 2023 for Sale

Now $4100. It’s not a great time of year to sell a motorcycle in Wisconsin! If it doesn’t go at this price, I'll tuck it away until Spring.

    Sold 2023 for Sale

Selling my 2023. I've added a windshield, a center rack, and a Harbor Freight box. It has about 400 miles on it, and has had an oil change with a Goldplug installed. It looks like new. I just need more speed/power for the hills near me. I’m in Southern Wisconsin. $4400. btw, the center rack is...

    ScootRoute App

I'm In the US (Wisconsin). It seems to work in my rural area. The routes I've asked it to develop seem to use 45mph roads rather than the 55's. It gives me round about routes, but that’s just fine. I think it’s worth playing around with.

    ScootRoute App

On another forum I saw a mention of a navigation app called ScootRoute. I've downloaded the app, and played around with it a bit. It's designed to pick routes for bikes that can't handle highway speeds or steep grades. I haven’t tried it on the road yet, but it looks promising. Just an FYI…I...

    Windshield/Wind screen

The one I bought is the same as the one shown in the video mentioned above. Here's a link to the shield itself. BTW, it’s about 13” tall. https://japan.webike.net/products/24269043.html

    Windshield/Wind screen

Sorry, I don’t have both, but I did recently install the Zeta shield. I was impressed with how solid it is, and it seems to function well. When I'm racing down the highway (47 mph), it keeps the wind off my chest. No buffeting noted. I also like the look.

    Break-in Period

Sorry for what is undoubtedly a basic question. I've had my new Trail for a couple weeks, and am keeping the speed below 40 mph. Am I correct that I should do that for a while? If yes, for how long? 500 miles? Thanks!

    Apache 3800 vs 4800

    Excellent point.

Small change, but I like it

Here’s a link to the file. I didn’t use a “print and cut” approach, but rather cut three different colors of vinyl arranged in two layers. Let me know if the link doesn’t work. https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/64d7c7049e44584bc5e51eb3

Small change, but I like it

I added a 4800 Harbor Freight case to my Trail, on the advice of people here. I like the case a lot, but made one small change. The letters/numbers came from a Google search and I used those to cut a vinyl decal on a Cricut machine. I'm pleased with the small bit of customization.

    Apache 3800 vs 4800

Ok, I stand corrected. I was able to pick up a 4800 today. It’s the right size alright. Thanks for the input!

    Apache 3800 vs 4800

Very impressive SneakyDingo! You could probably make and sell that setup! Thanks for taking the time to describe it.

    Apache 3800 vs 4800

SneakyDingo, could you describe your quick release setup? By the way, I'm rethinking my original post. The 4800 does seem like a better option. Thanks for the input!

    Price Check

Just picked mine up two days ago, in Iowa. I paid 4973 otd. That was the price they quoted, and they didn’t budge.

    Apache 3800 vs 4800

Hello all. I picked up a new CT125 a couple of days ago, and am thinking about the kinds of accessories I'd like. I’m pretty sure I'd like to add an Apache case. The 4800, to my eye, looks a tad big, but that seems to be the size everyone gets. Has anyone tried the 3800? If yes, I'd love to...
