I'm out of town this weekend. Maybe Veterans Day weekend? I have been thinking about the best way to make up to summit road from San Jose. Intentionally wait for beach traffic to build up and slow down? Wait on the shoulder for a slow truck and follow the truck? I'll probably just throw it in...

Option for rear shock, not yss

Got the Treatland shocks installed over the weekend. I think the black ones would have looked better but I'm happy with these. Took it for a test ride up to the top of Mt. Umunhum. They work great. Much better than stock.

Option for rear shock, not yss

Dang it! That Treatland website is cool but takes some getting used to to navigate. Wanted the black ones but couldnt find them yesterday. All good, I'll sport the chrome to get me home

Still looking in the SF Bay

$5339.53 OTD for the '23 at Hollister Powersports in July. The used one on CL looks promising. Whats up with the red snorkel though? Its nice that it comes with the racks and stuff but I would be hesitant to buy if they fiddled with the motor unless you trust the seller.

Still looking in the SF Bay

Also try hollister powersports. My buddy was on the wait list. They called him last week to tell him they had one but he couldnt pull the trigger on it. Might still be available. No deposit or anything to get on the wait list, which was nice. PS- If you do end up driving to hollister, you could...

    Magnetic Gold Plug installation

Just did the first oil change on my 2023 at ~400 mi and installed the gold plug. I did not find much metal debris in the pan but did find some very small pieces of light grey rubber material. I assumed it was just some RTV or something that squeezed out during assembly. Wasnt worried about it...

    Shift lever

I tried to adjust the shifter last night. I loosened the bolt and spread the clamp a bit but I can only get the dang thing to slide about half way off the spline. I found myself with a catspaw in my hand and decided I better consult the professionals before breaking out the carpentry tools on my...
