Anyone experienced this? It’s a clicking noise when shifting to neutral. Never heard it before but really noticeable today.

I obviously didn’t have it adjusted right it shifts better after the third adjustment than it ever has. Even first to second is much smoother. I hope I didn’t prematurely wear anything.

LOL my story exactly. I think my problem was the "feel resistance" part. I waited until there was too much resistance the first time. Second time was when I could just feel contact, then opposite direction 1/8. (unless I've mixed that up).
Either way, glad your click/pop is gone! If it was anything like mine it was worrisome sounding.

I have this same issue and I must be adjusting it incorrectly too. Why do you mark the starting orientation of the screw? Do you return it to that exact position or no? Do you mark is so you can see if the final position is different and that means it out of adjustment? Thanks for the help. I haven’t heard anyone explain why you mark the starting point.

So you can see if you made any change and how much.

Yes, is a reference to see how much you've adjusted the clutch engagement from where it was at before. Also if you get it wrong or are having trouble with it you could at least put it back where it was.
