Would like to get my bike into travel mode like you all.
I will be searching for -
shocks (I'm 190 dressed), fork springs, shifter lever( hate the heal to thing), fermor seat, perhaps going 12v light up grade(ext lighting is all 12v), ext gas can with rack(to replace my stock 1/2 gal can), rear top box, trailer(?) don't know if pulling or packing is best. windshield(saw one you can flip up side down),fender riser, mud flaps,ex plug up front for GPS ( I transferred a cross bar from somewhere so I have space), chain (keep stock gearing? I have a high/low box),down tube rack, engine/ crash guard ( with place for pegs),tires, do I need a ft rack?.
If you can help with any of this, great. Remember I have a 81' 110 though. Don't know what is transferable from your great 125's.
So far checking on all trying to see what will fit a 110.

Well they are totally different bikes, as far as outfitting your 110 you should really only need the stiffer forks dr atv sells, maybe stiffer rear suspension as welland go to pardue brothers for all electronic things. New rectifier and led upgrade probably. Love the 81 because it still has points but has the high low. Trust me, just make sure it’s running right and do those couple things and you will have the perfect trail/ mini adventure companion

What do you think about adding light? Am I stuck with ONLY stock lighting because of my 6v system? I was hoping to add something like 'hyperlights' to the rear to get some 'flashing' added in for safety.
Would really like a better chain guard.Would the 125 guard bolt up? Then some kind of rear side guards to carry a 3 bag system (top & side)on the rear for gear.Saw a photo of a 3bag system, but couldn't see what side guards were on the bike to support the sides. So side guards are an issue. Working on the shifter now (hate heel/toe)
So suspension ft & rear, seat, shifter, pack system & hyperlights for the rear.
Why willn't a new seat bolt up from a 125? A stiffer aftermarket one. Or will it?

They don’t have the same measurements for the bolts/latch so a 125 seat won’t fit, same thing with the chain guard. The pardue brothers make led stuff for the 6 volt that will be plenty bright, adding all that other stuff will just unnecessarily tax the system. You might try searching the adventure rider forum of Facebook specific ct110 groups for more data

Well haven't got a reply from the Purdue Brothers yet. Still not sure I got through to them so I will have to wait a bit longer before writing them off. I sent an e mail to - info@parduebrothers.com

Need help on the caps with a slit for removal in them.
Had a bad Time removing my timing port cap and ut is buggered some. I would like to replace it with a cap that takes a hex or star bit to remove it
Are there any good caps out there
I could center drill it and epoxy in a screw with a 10mm hex on it. But would like to know about buying a good cap.
Yes it is a 110 but don't the 125's use the same motor caps

NO. where are you located?

remember: the modern CT125 is a derivative of the modern grom, then supercub, really has nothing to do with the old CT's, at all. pretty much nothing swaps. Its like asking what parts from a 2020 dodge challenger will swap onto a 71 challenger.

I have an ‘81 110. I will always leave it stock.Lighting does suck though, as do brakes, but that’s the way it was then and that’s what I like. Like the posts mentioned above, the 125 only “looks” like an older CT.
