22 to 23 difference in ride

I rode the 23 model yesterday about 2 miles around the rv Park due to muddy roads outside park. I know this is subjective and hard to quantity but the 23 model feels much smoother than the 22 was, the gear changes are like butter on it where as the 22 was always a little clunky no matter how I adjusted it. Only got into 3rd gear because of riding area but the motor seems to Rev lower in lower gears. Now I may be imagine the whole thing since I've not ridden in 6 months but in my mind the 23 is a smoother ride the the 22 was, anyone else have both? What's your experience? And yes if the 24 becomes available I'll probably buy one, love the color.

I've only ever ridden my own '23. There's lots of foot vibration if you use pegs without rubber inserts like I do. Boots with thick insoles mostly resolve that. If the '22 has more vibration, I don't think I could run with the pegs I have now.

I do the same, I find the rubber insert slick riding in tennis shoes
