3 or 4 Mods and accessories you’ve done

This may help others. Try and keep it simple. List 3 or 4 Farkles you’ve added to your LRD Adventure Beast. Where you got them and maybe likes and dislikes. Maybe even what you plan to do and where you’ll get it from. If you had a bad experience with a vendor maybe just don’t list it. IF you picked up something you thought would work but changed it to another brand just say why you didn’t like it and what you did different to make it work. We all like adding cool stuff and want to spend hard earned money on what works. GO

Milk Crate (actually a bike basket), rotating the kickstart lever back, clamp on rear foot pegs and small rear seat both from Beezdeals. Additional freebie was rotating the handlebar clamps forward!

You could get a lot of duplicate entries with this post. You may want to check out the other 104 threads in this Mods and Accessories Forum, or the 45 threads in the Tech Discussion Forum.

Yes please. Lost sand lots of duplicates. It’s when people are using the same thing over time you know it works. ya we’ll get some that will be different. Then others will shout out with something different that someone will try and add likes and dislikes. The same thing never works for everyone. But you’ll have a good idea what works for most. Good useful products stick around because they work. If this thread fades away I guess it’s just not of any use like a crappy product. And we will chase single item threads all over to find what works and why. Post don’t post. Just stay thirsty for Adventure

I've added some silly accessories. A Schwinn cell phone mount, a bicycle bell (for dinging at pedestrians who show some courtesy or interest, or are unaware I'm behind them) and a Harbor freight magnetic LiPo LED work light.

Oops, I meant Li-ion battery. The one drawback is that the instructions on the light say Keep Dry. Guess I'll have to carry some plastic bags and duct tape. Also, does anyone think I'll get hassled by the PoPo for having an extra light like this? It might be a little blinding for oncoming traffic. If I get stopped I might have some 'splainin' to do about the plastic bags and duct tape!

im sure you'll be fine. all the cruisers out there with ridiculous extra driving lights and no issues from cops there. as long as it isnt blue, or flashing, or red, you should be fine.

MotoSkill Front rack/headlight guard, MotoSkill center rack, and Barkbusters hand grip guards. The grip guards required me to loosen the hand controls to make room for the mounting clamps, and i was not too comfortable doing that, but everything is back in place and tightened up well enough. I got it all from BeezDeals on Ebay, and it arrived to the midwest in less than a week.

Do you think the bars across the headlight affected the way the headlight shines at night. I really like the Motoskill racks. I didnt realize at first they are coming from Thailand. Are you still happy with them. I want the mid rack also. Thanks, EE.
