A little wind protection

The emphasis is on "little" here.
Installed a small (approximately 10" x 10") acrylic visor to help cut wind resistance. Bought it from Webike for about $50. Shipping from Japan can cost almost as much depending on whether you choose the slow boat or the fast plane delivery method. They make them in clear and smoke. You start to feel the effects around 30-35 mph, and at 45 mph the wind on your chest is noticeably less. As small as this is it doesn't block your head and arms from the wind as much as make a small pocket of less turbulent air at your chest. Although I didn't really expect it, top speed runs over the same course immediately before and after installation resulted in a 1 mph increase. Your results may vary. I thought it fit well with the lines of the bike. An added benefit of the smoke colored visor is it shades the speedo a bit and makes it easier to see.
I also installed "Storm" Barkbusters handguards. Slid both mirrors over just enough to put the mounting brackets next to the grips. A simple install. They've saved my knuckles from a few branches already.
