There is a saying on the island, Traa-dy-liooar, it means time enough. The pace of life is very much dictated by this which, is usually ok unless you need a tradesman quickly but that is another story.
In the spirit of this my partner and I finally got round to visiting the Victory Cafe up on the TT Mountain Course near The Bungalow, originally part of a WWII radar installation, then sometime after that a motorcycle museum for a while, then derelict and finally a new lease of life. Having heard only good things about it we went for lunch, you're greeted by a brace of Honda C50s (one was Disco Honda - see picture below). Next in line was a CT 90 (modified). I spent a little bit too much time looking and got into trouble with herself as she was hungry...
The food was excellent by the way and I can highly recommend Betty's steak and ale pie with all the trimmings. When I say trimming I mean mash, mushy peas, chips and meaty gravy.
So when you find yourself touring the island during TT or otherwise, stop in.
