Thanks in advance for any advice on the eagle research EFI,
In the past months I've been adding and modified the exhaust, and intake
I have the koso afr meter and planing on the 143 bbk eventually, in fact have the parts now.
But while I have the bike apart for brake work I'd like to wire in the EFI device.
I've noticed a change on the afr meter seems going towards 14.5 from the typical 13.5 - 14 WOT
Stock engine at this time.
Question I have is should I be setting the EFI up and anyone have a idea on the MV I should start at? Or just leave it alone until the bbk is installed.

An update on the EFI,
Wow I had no idea how choked down and leaned out these little bikes are.
And impressed by the smart folks on here.
Just those few mods with the intake, exaust and the EFI totally transformed this little bike.
So very cool.

Wondering if you had the bucks to spend would you install the mini 5?
Is it better than the EFI device?

I have the money to do it and no, i don't think it's worth it. (to me) I also have a grom that will do almost 90 mph with a 2 stroke motor in it so for me, it would be redundant. Back 'in the day' like 8 yrs ago before i blew up my 170 4V grom motor, i had an unlocked ecm and a power commander and WB auto tune and it was a fkn beast (would break 100 mph legit). But, i don't want to go down that road with this, and im not fond of the items offered for the trail from what i've seen. But, that's just me.

It sounds like you have a lot of experience with bike's.
And I agree with you on the mini 5. I'm not out for speed, but possibly not as much speed doop on the hills up here and head winds n such.
I have to be careful as this is my transportation in the winter months for work, and it's the only bike I probably will have.
The mods I've done is nice making a difference and I'll go ahead with the 143 this fall.
The cub has kept me smiling so cool.
