Amy problems with throttle sticking? Just got a CT125 but have had negative experience when slowing down to pull over .... the engine revs up ... any pointers?

If you just got it from a dealer then they may have bound up the throttle cables when assembling, if possible let them fix it. If not, or bought used, that's the first place I'd look.
If you return the throttle to zero and the revs stay up, see if moving the bars back and forth has an effect. When you release the throttle does it snap down to zero on it's own? If not then either something is restricting the cables or your return spring has popped off or broken. Or maybe something else entirely! I haven't dug too far into this bike yet but this might get you going in the right direction.
Also if you've added mirror extensions they get pretty close to the throttle cables.

Yikes. As MisterB said, if you've got mods those could be the issue, if not then try to reproduce it in neutral on the center stand - experiment with working the throttle and turning the steering side to side. My throttle had way too much slack (among other overlooked inspection items) when it left the dealer, easy to adjust and you might have the opposite issue of too little slack:

My throttle also had way too much slack, but the reasoning behind that is well understood to me: the Honda manual specifies there should be a 1/16-1/4" freeplay (2-6mm) at the flange, and my experience from seeing 3 of these bikes at the dealership is most dealers tend to err on the 6mm side.

Manual can be found here.

Thank all of you for your suggestions. I won't be able to look it over until Monday (Tuesday if it rains). Much appreciated.
