yes, very pricey but fair. I know a -lot- of people in the hobby of vintage 2 strokes (its a fairly tight knit community) and can lay my hands on about anything If need be. I'm not bragging, i've just been in it so long (about 30 years), networking and all.

At 50 it was now or never to get one, so I struck a deal back in May of this year with a friend that was buying a compete collection of bikes out of Japan, he knew I was looking for the 'right' one, this was it.

I like the 65 Galaxie!
thanks! actually its a 66. 390 car with 64k on it. its been warmed over with a full motor rebuild, edelbrock rpm performer heads and intake, sanderson headers, hei ign with msd bits on there, howards 427 cam, 10.5:1 compression, aluminum radiator w 2 12v fans and a holley on top. (tuned with an afr gauge). suspension is all new, front and rear oversized swaybars, adjustable spohn 3 link out back, different springs all around and 4 piston disc brakes, power, and all sorts of other bits. . theres a dead stock 62 falcon to the left thats a creampuff (out of sight).

deals gap a few years ago at the 2 stroke meet, it was my tow vehicle. talk about surprising a few people. :ROFLMAO:

doing some research , looks like this is one of about 1700 made with this paint scheme, ever. have a stash of parts coming from the us for it right now, so should be road ready in a few weeks worst case.

well I have 12 bikes that range from 97cc to 1050cc... and all but 2 have been in the nc/tn mts, only because I haven't been up since I got them this year. ;)

a ridge overlooking Lake Guntersville, AL.
Just got back from there. Did the Foothill and Cherohala skyways and Ocoee runs on the Harley with the wife. Layed it down while stopping at a construction site on the road when I put my right foot down on the crown of the road as it went into a little drainage ditch on the wet leaves. I stepped off, wife rode it over into the ditch hanging on to the sissy bar. I am still getting hell for that. She hit her tail bone on something in the ditch and I might have hyper extended my tendon in my right leg. She was having a blast until then. Now I got to sell and buy a Miata she says. It will fit into the back of the toy hauler maybe? Harley was a chunk to handle at 750 pounds with 120 lbs of wife on back. My 74 year old legs aren't up to the task anymore. CT125 a snap though at 250 lbs.HarleyCherohala102822.jpeg
