So here's the idea, I missed several portions of the actual CDT trail due to flooding in Colorado, logistical issues in NM and trail fatigue in Montana. My plan this yr is to ride those sections as the weather allows and finish what I started out to do. I will be riding alone and taking more pics, hopefully doing a better ride report as well. I'm picking up my bike tomorrow, changing tires and then I'm going to ride the Separ rd to silver city section, after that the silver city to pie town and then pie town to grants. Next will be Chama to Del Norte and then into the Colorado sections. This will take place over the next few months and thru summer. The farther I get from Deming I will be camping and using each campground as a start and return point so it will be double miles ridden each day. So is the forum interested in reading about this or have you guys had enough? Let me know what you think, thanks Bryan Church

When are you going to ride the Newer Mexico routes? I might join you on some of those sections. It would be a good trial for the BDR NM I'm planning on running this year.

My wife goes back to SD Feb for 13 weeks and I'll be unsupervised but really it depends on weather for me. The separ rd section is 45 min away and will be the easiest. Silver city to grants I did all pavement last time to catch up with Sneakydingo, I'm flexible if you are interested. I did the green route from silver city last time, doing the blue route to pie town thus time.
