Are any of you running bar end mirrors?

If so, what has worked for you? There is a dizzying array of choices at places like Dennis Kirk, and I’m not sure what would work best.

What's your goal with bar end mirrors? Aesthetic?
Something to consider, bar ends are a crash contact point.

Kinda think they don't fit the overall mission of the little trail  Aren't those bar end mirrors more affected by vibration and can actually increase the felt vibration at the grips? Not sure but I assume those engineers put those bar weights in to help dampen vibration.

I have CRG Blindsight mirrors on all motorcycles. No vibration and they use a convex lens, small size but great view. Also, no bar end weights on any motorcycle. It's my preference, haven't found any stock mirrors that work well and like to keep mirror location consistent, usually ride several motorcycles each week.

i have a crg blindspot on a bike, its pretty good. ont he trail? not sure i always found the mirrors to be pretty good (i did swap to supercub mirrors but that was purely aesthetic). but that's just me. the larger crgs i've had bad luck with and the cheap knockoffs seem to last better IMHO. But the blindspot is ok. why not just run them if that's what you are used to?

I put the adapters that move the mirrors up a bit and a couple inches out board, less than $13. I have great rear visibility with the stock mirrors, to each their own.

I’ve been seeing bar end mirrors that actually clamp onto a, ta-da, bar end, so the safety/crash factor is still available.

As for why, I have run them on many bikes over the years, and prefer the wider spread. It’s been quite some time since my last set, so I was curious as to what others have used successfully.

And yes, I do prefer the aesthetics…..
