Bam - Busted off my RHS cover tabs

Well I watched the videos and knew 'how' to do it, and was superduper careful and fiddled with it for around 8 minutes... and finally pop! and then pop!

Yay!

I got the right hand side cover off... and both broken tabs clinked into the frame area

Oh well.

Then I found this video where the fella says 'mine were already broken off' and I don't feel so bad https://hondatrail125.com/index.php...s-it-could-be-and-hv-oil-pump.1625/post-17104

Seems like those tabs don't really do much anyway, as the cover is pretty much back on like normal.

But in case I want to pick up a new cover, any suggestions on where to get one aside from the dealership?

Some of the plastic body panels were updated between the JA55 and JA65, but according to the parts fiche that part is unchanged between the earlier glowing red JA55 models and the Canadian JA65 glowing red model.

If you were in the USA I would point you to RevZilla, PartZilla, Rocky Mountain ATC, or Babbits/Honda Parts House. Will leave it to someone more familiar with the Canadian OEM parts websites to give you direction. That Bike Parts Honda site that I've linked for the parts fiche looks like an option, but I haven't purchased through them before. Some dealerships have their own websites you can buy the parts through. I'd recommend punching the part number in your search engine of choice and seeing what comes up.

Not sure if the decal is included on a replacement body part but @vintagegarage has ordered those stickers and may know.

I have ordered the stickers, but not the body part. I do however, think that the sticker comes attached to the body part if you buy the body part from Honda or one of the online Honda parts sellers. The sticker does show on the parts fiche for the body part.
