Beams Exhaust and others!

Hey all!

Overnighted some parts from Japan, Dom Toretto would be proud:

-Opmid 02 sensor guard
-Chimera Front Fork caps w/ preload
-Beams Exhaust
-Oil temp gauge (replaces oil fill)

All 4 mods were bolt on and took little time tinkering in the garage. Beams exhaust is throatier, but not overbearing and retains the factory heat shield, which I like. Hopefully provides a bit more torque for uphill.

Chimera front fork caps were an easy install and seem to stiffen up the front forks. Didn’t want to do a full fork replacement so I think these are worth it so far.

Opmid sensor guard is for cool points, and the oil temp gauge will be a redundancy.

Up next is some electrical!

-Opmid multimeter dash
-Opmid turn signal to marker lights
-Kitaco USB
-Battery Tender

Happy modding!

Happy modding!

I just recently did these mods and 100% do not regret it. USB, battery tender and OPMID dash were all done at the same time. The surprising part of this was how few tools I actually needed in the end. The thing I nearly forgot to do beforehand was record my odometer reading, since you can't get that later 😂

Not sure if it's true or not but some of the forums said the OPMID dash can get scratched easily. Since I am 1) vain and 2) careless, before I installed it, I put a protective cover on mine. Pre-cutting some protective film to go over the front might be the one time you can get it without any dust/etc.

I purchased a matte screen protector for the face of it!

Plug and play solutions, nothing spliced!- Opmid, USB that turns on with key, always on signals. Opmid also has a matte screen protector on it. Battery tender cable coming out of the air box.

Next up, Koso heated grips and helping her breathe a a bit better!

How do you like that Yeti Pouch? Are you using any kind of luggage rack with it? Would it be good for tools? (Small tire irons and such).

The yeti sidekick is convenient. I tend to use it for phone, keys, other miscellaneous items. It’s mounted to a g-craft side rack. Like the fact it’s water proof and is easy to get in and out of. RTIC makes a similar less expensive pouch that zips up and has multiple pockets as another choice!
