Very nice. When I retire, I have visions of traveling around the country, playing golf and riding the CT in interesting spots.

I got my first new motorcycle in 1973, a Honda SL175. I tied a sleeping bag to the handlebars and put on a backpack full of gear and was gone for a week. I still do it every chance I get.

I love adventures like this. Hoping to do it too on my (future) CT125.

Here are some pic's of my local area, it's too cold for a lot of riding, but I still get out there on warmer days.
How fun! Your pics look like a nice, secluded area. Doesn't it feel like you're the only one in on a well-kept secret when you're out enjoying the wilderness on your machine? I love the feeling. Question: how do you like the stock tires for mixed use?

Actually I was surprised, the stock tires were better than I thought they would be. But they aren't very good if it's muddy, and I felt the front wheel try to wash out a couple of times on dirt roads. I switched to a set of Shinko 241"s and I'm very happy with them.

Did you go up in size like other folks are doing?

No, I don't see the point, it was designed for 2.75 tires and they work fine. I've had two CT90's and two CT110's over the years and I learned that stock tires cause no clearance problems, going larger always does. I've never seen any benefit other than looks.

Thanks for the thoughts/experience.
