I assembled this CAM Block model Hunter Cub 125 the other day and thought I would share. I bought it on camshop.jp using the World Shopping option, which I have used for purchases before. A caution for others who aren't familiar with this proxy service: similar to using Buyee, the initial purchase price only includes shipping to the forwarder/proxy service. You will later receive a second invoice for shipping from the forwarder to your address if you are purchasing internationally. The initial purchase worked out to $43.89 USD, and then the shipment forwarding was $26.01 for a grand total of $69.90 (nice). Expensive for plastic, but comparable Lego sets can be priced similarly.

The kit consists of 523 pieces and a few stickers to apply. It is an officially licensed product manufactured by Faith Inc. I found the instructions to be easier to follow than some modern Lego sets I've recently assembled, and I had fun building it. Being made of blocks that fit together well (many off-brand block sets sets have a loose fit and fall apart), it's less fragile than the Fujimi plastic model I had which fell apart in a few areas, so I expect this one will hold up to being moved around and you could take it outside for some scenic forced perspective shots similar to the hardy Takara Tomy Tomica diecast model. The steering turns, the wheels spin, the "mirrors" adjust, the center stand goes up and down (no side stand), and the drive chain, rear wheel, and sprockets all rotate together.

My only complaint so far is the chain tension. Just look at that slack! If I remove a link it's too tight.
