How many Canadians here are happy with their Honda Trail 125? I’m looking to buy my first one to use for commuting to work and running around town on the weekends.
Let me know your thoughts

Pleased with my purchase .Bike is not a powerhouse so as long as your happy with that you will enjoy.I found the sweet spot for speed was 45 miles per hour.
that said it is capable of 50 plus mph .Hills the steeper ones especially can really slow you down.

I've been riding mine around Toronto now for almost two years and it is currently my go to city bike. Fantastic fuel economy (1.8 L/100 Km), can carry two 24s on the back rack with ease, and a few Rox straps, small and light enough to park in bicycle parking, most people think it is an E-bike because it is so quiet, and if traffic is really bad I'll use the bike lane on Bloor or Yonge. Hopefully Doug leaves them alone.
I'll fill up twice a month for $5 to $7 each time.
I would avoid the DVP, QEW, 401 and even the Allen can be tough at 80 Km/h although I did get it up to 100 on the DVP and it was screaming.

Not Canadian but just south of Pierson ~ 280K in US. Nearly 6000m on 2021 Trail just running errands and not using a 15 mpg pickup. Less than $200 us in fuel so far makes this a fun investment and a conversation starter. Good luck have fun.

Hi from Manitoba, Love my 2024 Trail. I use it to travel the back roads and fire guards. Awesome to run around town with to. Unbelievable on fuel. Type of bike that makes you sit back and enjoy the scenery.
