Nothing huge, but 2 things I recently did.
the small bag i had on the trail on the rack kind of annoyed me so i found this waterproof box. all i usually have in it is my wallet, phone, and maybe a few small things, but thats it. it latches w the lid with a twist lock as well and looks a bit more intentional. was on amazon. here: https://www.amazon.com/Evergreen-Waterproof-Dry-Protective-Case/dp/B094W93NC8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=28M15NEKC1Z52&keywords=Evergreen+56+Waterproof+Dry+Box+Protective+Case+-+Travel+Safe/Mil+Spec/USA+Made+-+for+Tackle+Organization+of+Cameras,+Phones,+Camping,+Fishing,+Hiking,+EDC,+Water+Sports,+Knives+(Black)&qid=1688136306&sprefix=evergreen+56+waterproof+dry+box+protective+case+-+travel+safe/mil+spec/usa+made+-+for+tackle+organization+of+cameras,+phones,+camping,+fishing,+hiking,+edc,+water+sports,+knives+black+,aps,94&sr=8-1&th=1&fbclid=IwAR3C87IVu_bXNu1hFbeu7SOpj4JAwHgfUxLxDRsTg3Gu07kFDYI980hxEHM

they make different sizes as well. I just strapped it down with some velcro straps. have a bit of rubber tubing slit down the side and set over the rails as well to keep it from rattling.

threw a 3/8 ratchet handle in there for size reference. its rubber lined so nothing rattles against the case.

then, the gauge bracket to me was looking a bit rough, i just always thought it looked 'cheap'. so i removed it and cleaned it up and painted it with VHT wrinkle paint cured in oven for about 40 mins and back on. purely cosmetic. however, it is very scratch resistant and wont fade, ever.

Thanks. I made a small aluminum bracket from scratch, it mounts using the gauge bracket bolt on the LH side. was just some .060 sheet i had laying around. I put it there because its in the line of sight I already use and I despise a busy display/dashboard. (why i dont have an opmid, looks like pinball machine to me)
You can sort of see it here.

Any chance you can post what it looks like in the back? Would love to do the same for my bike!

its going to look something like this. the jog down is to clear the strength flange on the gauge bracket. the bolt hole for mounting needs to be big enough for an M6 bolt to pass thru
