Finally getting around to listing out my mods! More to come, and I'll update this post as I make changes. See the attachments for close ups.

  • The installation manual mentions removing the handlebar weights and using their mounting solution, but I DO NOT recommend that. It's a lot of trouble to get the weights out, and I found it had worse vibrations without them. They can still be attached with the stock weights and screws.

  • I HIGHLY recommend installing the Honda 12v socket (below) along with this mod, as once you splice in the power for the tach you get the normal Honda plug for the 12v socket. Happy to provide more pics/how I did the install.

Haha I've definitely been considering a more comfortable one. I was on it for 5 or 6 hours the other day and I was definitely feeling it.

I consider the Diablo seat a pricey but absolutely worthwhile upgrade with beginner level difficulty for install.

pricey? compared to most other aftermarket seats its a steal.

Relative to Corbin and other seat options it's cheap. Relative to the other modifications for this motorcycle it's up there. The three most expensive mods I've done on the bike are the rear suspension, the Diablo seat and the OPMID multimeter. Of those, the OPMID multimeter and rear suspension took longer than 30 minutes to do and required pulling multiple parts off the bike to get them on there - not hard by any stretch of the imagination, but took more than a 10mm socket and 5 minutes for such a substantial improvement.
