I’m 6’ tall and the bar behind the seat has been a pain in the @$$ (literally). I threw on a piece of pipe insulation on a whim (not sure of size, maybe 1”) and although not perfect, it is a big improvement. I didn’t secure it to the bike and it has stayed on for 200+ miles without issue. May be worth a try!

The Diablo seat seems to sit about a 1/2" lower. Noticeably lower. My post about it is here. I'm 6'0" and while it does sit lower, I didn't feel like I lost substantial legroom or anything. Just that I wish it was taller, not lower. Probably the bigger thing is that the rear of the seat is closer to the grab bar, to the point that I either need to pop open the seat (as if I was filling up the fuel tank) or take my gloves off and squish my hand in.

A different brand of seat will likely have a different result.
