Kinda had my heart set on it being stainless but just ordered a chrome one. the prototypes had them and i liked it.

I do like the blacked out shields i've seen on here as well but figured on a retro it should be shiny. But i'll prob paint the stock one black while i wait for it to arrive, the painted silver is cheesy IMHO

Has anyone ordered one of these yet and installed it?

I like to see I’m not the oldest one in here. Creeping up on 58. I never had any motorcycles as a kid so I don’t have those memories. Did have an ‘82 Yamaha 750 as my first bike in the late ‘80s. It allowed me park closer to the pier to get to my Navy ship faster. Didn’t buy another bike until the Metropolitan for the wife then the monkey for me.

my ex father in-law still rides 2 of his HDs. I still talk to him on occasion, hes turning 80 this year. he rode dirt until about 8 yrs ago. the second time he broke a few ribs he had to give that up. Inspiring to say the least. I hope i'm that lucky to ride another 30+ years.

Didn’t order chrome yet, but I do like the ad pics. Hope you post pics after you add the shields. Thanks!

I'm pushing 73 and feeling it but never to old to ride, just to old to pick up the big bikes. That chrome really looks good. Where did it come from? BEEZ. I can see going with that instead of the black aft shield. Well maybe a chrome aft shield too. Funny, right after I got my two donkeys I was at my old house in Madison, Al. making sure kids where maintaining and also returning the motor cycle trailer to back garage where I keep it and saw what I though was a CT 90 turn around at the dead end that my old house looks at. I was leaving so followed the bike down the street in my truck to about half way and it turned up a drive way and stopped in-front of the garage, I hollered up at the guy sitting on the bike. I said is that a Honda CT90 Trail or something, and he said no it was a Hodaka. He said he collected and restored them. He said he had six in the garage and did I want to come up and look. I had to turn him down as I was late for an appointment but should have taken him up on the offer. I will in the future look for the opportunity. The chrome was cool. I lived in that Madison house for 25 years and this guy lived down the street for 20 or so and I never saw him riding the bikes before or knew? He was retired military like me and said he had had one or more since they came out. I honestly never remember seeing them before or I would have remembered, or else I did and thought they were a Honda variant?
