Color availability

Is there any rhyme or reason to which markets are getting which colors and when? I'd love to buy a red one but in the US it seems like only one color is available each year, while in Canada Red and Green are both available. Any idea when red will be available in the US again?

Honda do the same thing with other models, only some colors available in some regions for some years. Might have to do with their region specific production planning, doesn't make sense to offer a variety of colors in a country they're going to export a lesser quantity to. Canada has only had Glowing Red. The Canadian Trail 125 has more in common with the Japanese market model than the USA market model does, so that might factor into it as well.
