OK Red, here goes...
Had several Corbins as well as other upscale brands to compare (Sargeant, Meyer, Guts, Renazco). For me, Corbin hands-down has had the best designs for ride time & range. Once rode my old (former) 1150GS with a Corbin 20 hours straight, from Tofino to SF the long way (minus ferry time). Only thing that didn't hurt was my butt and lower back. They 're not soft or cushy (at least none of mine have been), but are rather firm, and on first touch you might wonder how they're ever going to feel comfortable. It's the way they shape and form their pan and the contact geometry, it just distributes pressure evenly and effectively over your anatomy.
Last week I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Corbin for the Trail. Honda's seat design on the CT125 is pitiful (but the seat on the Monkey is really great -- go figure) and that Corbin order just had to happen. Delivery takes a few weeks and yes $480 (ow) is pricey, but why spend upwards of $5k on the bike and then suffer riding it, instead of resolving a badly needed Honda shortcoming so it can be fully enjoyed. IMO/IME discomfort is distracting, robs focus, attention, confidence; not fun or safe. Even without having seen/sat in-person on a CT Corbin, I'm confident I'll be satisfied because of their performance on bikes past. Have yet to hear complaints or disappointments about Trail 125 Corbin, can't say that about other options.
So that, plus....if you do buy a Corbin, your wallet will be that much thinner, less of a fat lump to sit on, and more comfortable as well!

For those that have the Corbin seats, can you post pictures and explain which material you decided to outfit the seat in. There's so many options and I'm not sure what looks the best or if there's a difference in how it wears..rides..? I appreciate it so much!

Probably too late to help you, but here is a picture of my Corbin seat. I selected leather surface with red stitching and piping and synthetic sides. You can use Corbin’s online tool to customiz. The options are voluminou. Good luck!

i quite like the diablo. that corbin is pretty, i like it. Not for 500 bucks but its nice. I had corbins on bigger touring bikes and they were great... and NOT soft. too soft = bad. also, it shard as hell tp make one seat for every ass. bar, peg position, and riders weight and general posture all have a big effect on seat comfort.

I just received my Corbin. The Diablo was on mine when I bought it and it wasn't comfortable for me. It's not fun if your not comfortable. I have used Corbin in the past and have one on my 2021 Wing. I swear by them for me. I'm heavy so that isn't in my favor. You can see my wing on the Corbin website under the fire and ice saddle for Wings. I'll update in a few weeks when I get this seat broken in.

The Corbin seat, while pricey, is definitely my favorite quality of life modification I've done on the bike, followed by rotating the handlebars and upgrading the suspension.

I get it but I don't, this was the bike before I rode home from work today... I use gloves??? Comfort! Bar mitts block wind well enough that you can be more comfortable for longer with regular gloves that have good dexterity. I just did blocking for the Toys for Tots run in Chicago on a...

I, apparently, have a Corbin butt. I put one on my ‘91 FJ back in ‘92 (I lived In CA then… rode down to Watsonville and they brought out a pan with foam. Had me sit, cut it up, marked where panels were, asked me colors, sewed it up, boxed up my stock seat to send to my house, and rode it home). After 20+ years (and 70k+ miles), the leather split. Sent it in to be re-covered (paid for the re-covering) and still love it.
After getting my ‘23 Trail and found the seat to be hopeless, (and ridiculously uncomfortable after 15-20 minutes) ordered a Corbin (black with Sage Green piping). Love it. Butt is happy. Picked up a ‘24 Trail a few weeks ago, found the Yellows Corbin offered to not be “optimal”, (I did request samples) so got it with Black piping. Black is the ‘accent’ color of the ‘24 anyway, with the Black rack and all…
I also have a Corbin on my Ducati ST4s and Suzuki GS850.
My most painful time was when I was getting the seat for the FJ re-covered. I put the stock seat back on, rode an hour out, and worried if I could get back home, realizing I had to deal with an hour of pain it was inflicting to get there.
I did purchase a Diablo to give it a shot. It wasn’t as wide as my butt and seemed to transmit all the single-cylinder-vibrations directly into me. Absolutely better than stock, but still not what I was after.
The ‘24 (yellow) is mostly for visiting friends, so I’ll keep the seat options open for now.

Disclaimer: NO, I do not work for Corbin. I have, at times, found them ‘unpleasant and/or tedious’ to work with. My butt, and the many, many miles with the two in harmony, wins the day. To me, and my butt, it’s worth it.

I've found Corbin saddles to be hit or miss in terms of fit, comfort, and quality. For the CT125 specifically I bought a barely used Corbin with other take-off mods and wasn't impressed with the appearance of the upholstery job on it. The seat pan didn't look great either, but that's a nitpick as you'd only see it when refueling. Not something that would bother me for a cheaper seat considering it's hand made, but it wasn't what I expected at the price point of the Corbin. I ended up keeping the no-name seat from eBay that I had already put thousands of miles on and know to be comfortable enough for long rides. I didn't end up keeping two other Corbin saddles I've tried in recent years either... I'd likely have given up trying their seats by now if I didn't have such a positive experience with their older products.
