I bought dmonkey's corbin seat and I agree that it it is a bit lower quality than I had seen previously from Corbin. I also can't manage to get it to latch/lock but I don't really care about that. Might have something to do with my backrest, though.

Stupid comfy, though.

I have Seat Concepts seats on my other bikes, but they don't have one listed yet for the Trail. I may call them and see if they have something in the planning stages.

Long ago I emailed them to express interest. I'm happy with the seat I have now, but if anyone else is interested I'd recommend letting them know. With enough bikes out there and interest in seat options, maybe they'll come out with one.

I wanted to ask if anyone's tried the seat by Corbin? I see a lot of people talking about the Diablo but hadn't seen any input on this one. Made by a real professional motorcycle seat company and customizable (and matching rear seat option). Pretty spendy though.

I purchased the Corbin seat for my 2023 125 and love it. The lower profile is much more comfortable - highly recommend the change for longer rides!

Which options did you select? That's pretty much how I'd order it, but with the "Corbin" in black. TIA.

Hello,
Does anyone know if the seats interchange from year to year, 2021 seat fit a 2023-24 bike?
Thanks much,

Yep, I'm actually thinking of bringing my Dremel with me to pick up my new CT125 in a couple of weeks and cutting that bar off at the dealership. That would raise a few eyebrows lol... but it's going to be the first thing I do to the bike. That sucker is useless, and a tailbone assassin.

I don't have my trail yet so maybe i'll actually like the infamous uncomfortable seat, but if not the diablo seems like a no brainer with the corbin being that pricey. Like that's not even a decision to make.

In reality i'm coming from the cycling world and i'm used to lots of long days full of discomfort so i'm sure the diablo and even the stock seat will feel luxurious to me compared to the seat on my roadie.
I've been using the stock seat for 7000 miles in 2+ years. I think its a preference... like buying shoes. Unfortunately, there's no seat store so you can try one on. Negative Honda seat testamonials don't mean a thing to me. My butt is the only critic here.

Before you cut it off, there's a replacement rack that takes it out completely. There's also a full, long saddle that covers the bar and goes half way back over the rack. I'm considering this to be able to stretch my body out more and give myself the feel of a larger bike. FYI I use the handle a lot to put the bike up on the center stand, but yeah it tends to get in the way.

I'm also running a stock seat and find it's okay. I have Seat Concept seat pads/covers on my other bikes and will likely upgrade to one of those for my Trail but for now the stock seat is fine. I did put a handlebar pad on that bar though. Bought one with a Honda logo on it. Looks good and if I do happen to hit the bar, the pad saves me from banging my tailbone into it.

Hello,
Have the Diablo Low seat on now as knees/body don't work so lower the better.
When I was a kid, 72 now, I like most kids wanted a Schwinn Stingray. Well for my B-Day my Dad, RIP, put high bars and a 2x4 wood seat with nylon carpet on it to take the place of the banana seat.
He did this to my 100 lb. Paperboy delivery bike. Not only were the insides of my thighs bleeding from trying to do wheelies, front end up maybe 1.5", it was the most uncomfortable seat in my lfe.
The Diablo makes me think about that seat, thank goodness for my Airhawk on rides over 3 miles. It is lower than stock but there is a price to pay!!
Happy riding,
