Small Bike Stuff (Callum from New Zealand) posted an English language video walking through one of the many CUB House by Honda locations in Thailand. Cool to see the what the boutique dealership & cafe setups look like. Reminds me of some of the bigger or more popular dealerships for various makes in the states that often have historic, custom, or race motorcycles on display, memorabilia, and lots of "lifestyle" merch and aftermarket accessories. Much more of a cultural experience than your typical powersports dealership that is often just a warehouse of vehicles on the floor.

The CT125 had a cool luggage bag that was available for a while back in like... 2019/2020, but is now out of stock. Branded with Cub House, welded plastic seams, fit nicely for the rear rack of the CT125 and was a cool little showpiece showing how they had some really nice Trail 125 options in other countries. I thought it might be visible in the video at 5:50 but I think that's actually a different bag, the Cub House Streamtrail (33L). They have some really cool stuff, so I considered placing an order for them a while back and going ham on customizations, but ended up deciding that I didn't have that level of disposable income and calling it a day. Stock CT125 appearance it is for me.

I ended up with a Wolfman Luggage bag fairly similar to this though.

One piece of Honda "lifestyle" gear I bought last year was this shirt.

I was tempted by that Streamtrail duffel, but couldn't tell if it was a quality product or not and I already have a North Face one that also doubles as a backpack. The North Face bag is probably my favorite piece of luggage. Keeps my hands free for carrying other luggage or riding gear when unloading a bike. I run a cheap retractable cable combo lock through the zipper pulls to discourage people from trying to rummage through it when parked.

Which Wolfman bag do you have? I was disappointed when they closed their shop in Longmont, Colorado, moved production to China, and dropped the lifetime warranty with the newer WP series of gear. Luckily my older Wolfman Blackhawk sewn tank bag is holding up great.

I bought the Wolfman Expedition Dry Duffel Bag WP, size SM (40L).

I was inspired by this video from Quasimotard, but the DrySpec bag wasn't on sale when I was trying to buy it - nearly double the price. I also compared this to the Givi luggage that Ang from SomeGuyRides used which he does say which one he has somewhere in his 25-26h of content.

If I remember correctly what I did was snap a screenshot of the video, and project the number of pixels to determine which bag he actually had on the bike based on length of the bag and length of the CT125 rear rack. I don't like that it hangs that far back off the rear, so I looked for the next size down. It seems that most other people like running 50L bags, and are ok with hanging stuff over the sides and back. So if nothing else, anyone reading this who seeks advice, 50L seems to be a pretty sweet spot for most people.

A while back I purchased a Gonex 40L duffel bag that collapses down for storage as the primary feature of the duffel bag as one of my go-bags for going on car trips, etc. It's worth noting that in order to achieve the folding pattern it has, it has to adhere to very strict L x W x H ratio requirements. I dug that out of storage and compared it to the offerings. Then slapped it on the back of the CT125 and checked to see that nothing hung over points on the bike in ways I didn't like. Took a bunch of Amazon boxes and taped them together to see roughly how various offerings would actually sit compared to my Gonex bag. Found a bunch of bags in the same capacity size and sorted them by features I liked the most and price. Wolfman came out as the top contender, but I never factored warranty and production location into the purchase process. As they say, YMMV - I feel like given the same situation, you'd choose someone else, and we'd both be extremely happy with our individual purchases for different reasons.

My choice was driven largely by not wanting to have stuff hanging over the sides, and that I specifically own bikepacking gear - stuff designed to fit in a handlebar roll, often with shorter tent poles, more compact design, etc. Maybe I'm shooting myself in the foot here, but I also feel like most people carry too much stuff on their bikes. My gear is designed to be carted by bicycle so I want to make sure it's not crazy heavy, crazy big, etc.
